What! No surfing! The agony. Or is it?
For the first time in 5 years, the X Games opted to drop the barrel-riding, wave-filled exhibition from the program.
Hear that? It’s the sound of surf junkies’ hearts breaking around the world.
Why the diss? For one, surfing is the only event in the Games that isn’t live. [...]

The X Games are hitting the pavement, literally.
ESPN just announced 3 new disciplines for the mean street riders out there. Skateboard Superpark, BMX Superpark and BMX Street racing will make their debut this summer, giving the transitional skaters and riders an opportunity to strut their stuff.
